Are you a girl interested in going to college or have a career? Do you want guidance on how to set and achieve your career goals? Would you like access to role models and mentors? Get the resources you need to plan your future through the Soroptimist Dream It, Be It Career Support for Girls program, which aims to help girls grow to be strong, successful and happy adults.

Soroptimist International of Ramona is planning to host a two-day (afternoon) workshop for school-age girls between 14-18 years of age, called DISCOVERING YOUR DREAMS, WHERE GIRLS WILL BE INSPIRED TO ENVISION THEIR FUTURE ASPIRATIONS.  We will have things to do to help you figure out what goals you want to set for your future.

The Dream It, Be It one-day workshop will take place at Mountain Valley Academy in Ramona on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Girls and their parents/guardians can ask questions regarding the program by emailing siramona@outlook.com or use our contact page to send us a message through our website ()

This is a FREE workshop where food, drinks, and supplies will be provided at no charge.  There is no obligation except to attend and have fun while trying to figure out what you may want to do with your life as you grow.  Our goal is to help girls grow up to be strong, successful, and happy adults!

You're invited to join Soroptimist International of Ramona as they feature Author, and member, Jamie Tyrone for an exclusive book signing. Her book, Fighting For My Life, was just placed on Oprah's books to read list. You'll also hear engaging stories of who Soroptimist is, and what they do locally and international.

At 49 years of age, Jamie found out that she had a 91% genetic predisposition of having Alzheimers disease. She went on a research and testing journey that led her to founding B.A.B.E.S, Beating Alzheimer's By Embracing Science which raises money and awareness in search of a cure. This energy from the Alzheimer's community led her to write this book along with Dr. Marwan Sabbagh. They bring real-life experiences and an honest look at the psychological effects of genetic testing.

Soroptimist International of Ramona is part of an international organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls. We do this through our Dream programs which strive to empower and educate women and girls who face economic and personal challenges.
